A CSA, or community supported agriculture, is a subscription or membership to a farm to receive produce or other farm products on a regular basis. The customer enters into a relationship with that farm to get a weekly box or prepaid card for a share of their veggies (or fruit, meat, eggs, flowers, or prepared foods).
We are a family-operated flower farm located in Chelsea, MI. We grow many varieties of premium cut flowers, aromatic herbs, greenery and grasses. We provide our community with fresh, locally grown flowers June-October. All of our flowers are harvested, hydrated and stored properly to ensure the longest vase life possible. Like you, we are community members and have a vested interest in protecting our natural resources and preserving our local agricultural heritage. Therefore, we only use sustainable farming methods.
We have 200 acres of pasture and raise grass-fed beef cattle from birth. We offer a CSB - Community Supported Beef. You can buy a 1/4, Half or Whole Beef, cut to your specification. Shares must be scheduled ahead of the butcher date, a deposit is requested. Shares available most months throughout the year. Local delivery included for whole beef shares.
Blue Spring Farm is a small family farm serving the Ann Arbor community with a wide selection of vegetables, flowers & fruit. Jon and Lorraine have been farming their land organically for 17 years together. It is our pleasure & responsibility to work with the land and feed our local community.
Brines Farm is a family farm situated on over 80 acres of preserved farmland in historic northern Webster Township in Washtenaw County. As Michigan's longest-running CSA, we continue to grow our Biodynamic produce with care and intention for the land and all of the people and animals that spend time here. We are a member-run cooperative, put a lot of emphasis on education here at the farm, and LOVE visitors of all ages.
We are a small, certified organic, family farm located on the north-eastern edge of Ann Arbor, MI. Established in November 2017, we follow traditional regenerative agriculture practices. Our focus is on growing healthy food and being good stewards of the land. We at Country Valley Farm offer a CSA as a mechanism to help build relationships between our farm and food with people in our community. We partner with other local farms in creating our CSA shares. There are many great reasons to join a CSA: by joining our CSA you will get a box of produce each week, as fresh and flavorful as it gets. Each box will contain a diverse range of peak-season produce, varying over the course of the season.
Our intention is for the CSA shares to provide a good value in terms of quantity, as well as be truly exceptional quality produce. Your box may or may not meet all of your vegetable needs each week; however, making sure it is fair and reasonable is very important to us.

The home farm is 220 acres at the edge of the Irish Hills in Manchester, Michigan. Most of our farm is devoted and planted with our highest quality of produce that we proudly offer to you. Also, we have a large selection of flowers available for you to choose from! We have several ways that we provide you with produce and flowers. We attend several markets, have two stores open daily, and offer a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program to you. We are very excited about the recent opportunities in providing fresh produce to a growing number of people. We attend several markets a week and we hope to see you at one of them! Our family has been stewards of the same land since 1905. In the late 1970s, our farm transitioned from grain and livestock to produce. Three generations of our family provide the energy and expertise to operate our farm. We welcome CSA members to come and get to know us at our annual farm day. We believe the key to healthy produce is healthy soil. We work hard to incorporate cover crops, manure, and compost into the soil. Our efforts to improve the soil yield rich benefits in the flavor and nutrition of our produce. Although we are not organically certified, our farm uses many organic practices. We favor vigorous Non-GMO cultivars and are continually trialing varieties to select those with optimum flavor and nutrition, the same way that good farmers have for generations. We are committed to Non-GMO and grow only 100% Non-GMO vegetables on our farm.

We are a forty-acre all-natural farm cultivating half of our land in produce for farm markets and our CSA program. Ten acres are dedicated to U-pick strawberries, lavender, sunflowers, and pumpkins. The remaining farmland is a serene pollinator habitat encompassing wetlands. We bring a natural and soil-renewing approach to farming and a safe space for our apiary of honeybees that produces hundreds of gallons of raw honey every year. Kapnick Orchards was founded near Tecumseh in 1958 by Robert and Gertrude Kapnick and Charles and Janice Kapnick. Today, Charles and Janice’s daughter, Sharon Shaffer, operates the farm with her husband Bruce and business partner Scott Robertello. You can find Kapnick’s produce at farmers markets around Washtenaw County and at their farm store - open 12 months a year! Visiting the farm in the Fall is especially wonderful as they offer u-pick apples and pumpkins and wagon rides through an Enchanted Forest.
Jim Neumann and Helen Chandler, partners in marriage and business, own and operate Lake Divide Farm. Located in Jackson County Michigan, the farm is named for the unique way the Huron and Upper Grand watersheds divide the property in half. This year will be our sixth farming in Michigan, after four years running Whistling Wolf Farm in New Jersey. Through our inaugural season, we got our organic certification through Ohio Ecological Farm and Food Association (OEFFA) and began laying the groundwork for a lifetime of friendship and stewardship within our community. We are eager to continue forging relationships and carrying on the work of caring for our environment. We are committed to farming the land sustainably and preserving the natural ecosystems that predate our arrival.

Our 6 acres of land feature a beautiful pine forest, a small fruit orchard, over an acre of garden space, and lots of wild spaces to explore. We grow a diverse array of fruits, vegetables, flowers, and herbs - everything from asparagus to strawberries, from dry beans to tomatoes - for our CSA, the Dexter Farmers Market, and wholesale.
Old City Acres is a no till veggie farm that grows year round veggies using beyond organic practices. By using a Flexible CSA model and multiple pickup locations throughout town, local food has never been so easy. CSA members also get access to our exclusive "Members" Store" where they can purchase additional goods like Eggs, Honey, Dried Herbs, Bread, and Much more from our cohort of Partner Farms.
Pregitzer Farm Market started as a roadside stand in 1996. Since then we have grown tremendously and become a sustainable farm! We offer farm fresh local produce that is picked fresh daily and grown responsibly. Special priority is given to the health of our soil and produce. Our veggies are always fresh from the field thus retaining more nutrients and unbeatable flavor. In 2007 we started a CSA program. Pregitzer Farm Market opens in May and closes late November. We also attend the farmers markets in Chelsea, Ann Arbor and possibly more in the future.
We started our farm in 2021 because we love eating new intriguing foods and realized we could grow them all ourselves. In particular, our passion is unique, heirloom, and delicious cultivars. We buy seeds locally from Nature & Nurture and Ann Arbor Seed Co., as well as from trusted national carriers like Johnny’s Selected Seeds. We are also proud to source heritage seeds from Ujamaa Cooperative Farming Alliance, which strives to “provide more opportunities and support for growers from historically oppressed and marginalized communities.”
What began as a small roadside stand operation, now produces in quantities large enough to supply local farmers markets and restaurants with quality produce! David Sheats, Kevin Sheats, Brianna Sheats, Doug Sheats and Austin Schettenhelm, with their families, take pride in increasing food access and shortening the supply chain in their community. Our goal is to bring you the freshest produce that you can find.
A volunteer run farm growing vegetables, fruit and flowers using organic, bio dynamic and regenerative methods. We are donating farm share boxes and cooking meals for the elderly, sick and recovering patients to help them enrich their bodies with healthy nutritious foods. We hope to have commercially licensed kitchen to feed more people from in the future.
This biodiverse and USDA certified organic U-Pick farm and farmstand is devoted to justice in the food system. They grow mainly heirloom produce and flowers, which provide an organic farm experience demonstrating “closed loop” practices that benefit social and ecological well-being. The 12 week summer CSA from July to October includes lots of heirloom tomatoes, lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, greens, garlic, summer squash, eggplant, herbs and more!

Tantre Farm is located 9 miles southwest of Chelsea and started its very first crops of potatoes, winter squash, and garlic in 1993 on a 40 acre parcel. Since then their farm has grown to include about 80-100 varieties of vegetables, mushrooms, and a small variety of herbs and flowers. They also offer various CSA produce share memberships options!

One of the nation's first hospital-based farms, the Farm at Trinity Health works to grow a healthy community by empowering people through food, education, and relationships. The Farm Share is our Produce Prescription program. Modeled after a traditional CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), we work with 20+ local farmers each week to design and pack a box of nutrient-dense local produce. The Farm Share is a great way to access high-quality, locally grown produce to help keep yourself and your family healthy throughout the year. Membership includes access to recipes, cooking demonstrations and a variety of seasonal farm events.
Washtenaw Meats, LLC is collectively owned and operated by Sarah Schloss of N Kids Farm, Colleen Dauw of Dancer Creek Farm, and David Cobler of Sabbath Farm. We partner with local businesses in order to reinvigorate the small livestock system in SE Michigan. By working together, we strengthen area farmers and processors while bringing high quality, nutritious, safe, and humanely raised meat products to households, restaurants, and stores. We're farmers working together to feed our communities.
Whitney Farmstead is grassfed livestock and maple syrup farm in northern Ann Arbor. They value diversified and restorative agricultural practices; rotational grazing, perennial forages, heritage breeds, organically grown grains, traditional building, and selling directly to our community. They work each and every day to be nourishing stewards of the land and community they call home through honest and steady work.
This organic practice offers over 60 types of fresh vegetables, apples, pears, mushrooms and wild edibles. Additional offerings of eggs, organic soaps, and honey CSAs are year round which include Fromage Lover’s Goat Share, Thanksgiving Bundle and Solstice Bundle share. Full share includes a complete selection of all produce we harvest for that week including recipes, updates, fruits in season, flowers, herbs, and may include specialty additions.
